We`re very delighted to announce that Chevalier Avant Garde will play live on our party Kann denn Liebe Synthie sein? on the 2nd of June at the Golem Krypta.
After the concert we`ll play your fave synth songs and as you know, we wanna see you dancing. And if this is not enough we`ll have another little surprise for you at very late night or in the early morning, depending on your view… we`re not gonna tell you, oh no. You have to stay with us till dawn and loose yourself in synth.
Chevalier Avant Garde deliver the utmost serious retro-futurist pop. The group is from Montreal and it seems like the perfect soundtrack to some Isaac Asimov reading time.
The cheeky melody of a Throbbing Gristle lullaby, the poetic cycle of a Kraftwerk automaton, Chicago’s soul machine code.

some bad taste for the weekend… he plays the synthesizer… invisible zoo with the song synthesizer man from 84`, actually a b-side of the nighttime 12”. they were an L.A. based synth pop outfit. read more on the website of former member andy robinson. the dance scenes are taken from the scene-detroit dance show. it`s absolutely insanely funny:) xx k.

Funkineven Chips & Sweets (Apron) (Limited Edition Pink 12” Vinyl - Hand-stamped in candy-stripe paper packaging) Very little excites us more than the prospect of a new Funkineven 12”. After such Bleep-favourites as the acid-infused ‘Heart Pound’ and ‘Roland’s Jam’, the Eglo analogue squelcher has a unique talent for taking vintage sounds and making them relevant for today’s dancefloors. Here, in a very special limited edition release on his own Apron imprint, Mr ‘Even takes 2 tasty disco re-edits, spreads a healthy amount of brightly-coloured synth-play on them and serves in a sweet-bag (literally) for your enjoyment. Due to the limited nature of this release, this item is strictly one per customer. buy here…
